We decided to wait until we got home to do Christmas with the babies. A couple of things that they got today were from Oma and Opa and the rest from us. It was cool to see them walk out of the room and start freaking out because of new toys.

Our trip to Alabama was pretty intense. We had so much fun flying I don’t even feel discussing it. I have never seen kids so unhappy for so long in my life. You would have thought that someone had gone and ripped a limb off of their body.
Other than flying the rest of the trip was laid back. We had a good time seeing everyone and it was nice to spend my first Christmas in Alabama in over five years. The kids had a blast running around in the yard and playing with Cole, Wyatt, and Richard outside in the yard. They have not had that much freedom in their whole life.
We enjoyed seeing everyone and we would have liked to see more but it doesn’t always work out. It was nice to be able to take the kids to church a couple times so that the people that I grew up with could see my kids for the first time.

Well, here we are…still. We were supposed to go to Alabama but mother nature had to dump about 20 inches of snow… I will say that at least I got to go out and play with the kids in it. I wish that they were snowboarders already. It would be nice to pack up on a weekend like this and go to the hill for a nice fun day of snowboarding. I am sure that it will happen soon enough.

Hopefully we will be able to get on our flight tomorrow. We are looking forward to spending time with the Alabama family for the Holidays.

I took the kids to the park today with Blue. They had a great time running around playing with the leaves and sticks. Blue also tried to escape but I am sure that he had fun as well. I took the pictures with my phone so they aren’t the quality that I am used to but I am sure it will do. I hope that you all enjoy.

These pictures are just about opposite of the visit. Ryan just kinda stood around the whole time while Lily chased blue and had a great time hitting stuff with her stick!

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We spent the night in VA Beach with Jessica’s family. The kids seemed to have had a great time. It was nice for them to have a change of pace and get out of the house. We also ended up bringing Blue and he enjoyed sleeping in the bed at the hotel with me. So all-in-all it ended up being a pretty good time.

I have added a few pictures to the November album as well as the Kylie album. I hope that yall enjoy looking at them.

So Ryan screamed bloody murder while he got his hair chopped on Wednesday! It was kinda cute but I didn’t expect that he would freak out!

I am just finishing up my Reserve Trip to Japan. I had a good trip and I got to squeeze a day or two in with my dad. I am also adding some pictures from the USS George Washington (CVN 73). I have many comments about this trip but the most important is that I would have much rather spent my time on a submarine specifically for cleanliness.

So today was a lot of fun. Jessica’s mother is here and we all ended up taking the kids out to a Pumpkin Festival in Centerville. It was a lot of fun. The kids went down so many slides that I can’t even count them all. They had a specific area designated for the little kids and Lily and Ryan had a blast running around and playing outside with nobody to bother them. We also took them on a Hayride which was a challenge for Lily because she can’t sit still for more than a few seconds.

After the festival we took the kids to the Manassas Mall where they were doing Trick-or-Treat activities so that Lily and Ryan could start freshening up on their TRICKS! I want them ready to trick everyone next year! Anyway, that was pretty cute. They were absolutely clueless though, which of course I expected. It would have been cool if they had figured it all out though. Needless to say they are pooped and are already out for the night.

I added all of the pictures so that ya’ll could see how cute my little Monkey and her brother the Dragon/Dino were tonight!

I took them out to play with the cars they got for their birthdays. They enjoyed pushing them around but did not really understand riding in them. They also enjoy the horn on the car….

Well, once again it has been a long time since I have put anything on the website. I have added all the pictures that we have taken thus far in October. I am sure that I will be adding ton of pictures from Halloween. Lily and Ryan are planning on dressing up as a monkey and a dragon. It should be pretty entertaining. Things lately have been pretty rough; Jessica’s car has been in the shop for over two weeks now. I am hoping that we will get it back some time before the end of the year.

I am leaving for Japan next week and should be gone for a couple of weeks. I am doing my Reserve time on board a bird farm. It should be a pretty good experience and I am looking forward to going underway on something other than a submarine. I am certain that it will be two weeks of working out and sitting on my ass. Not that I have a problem with that, because I will be getting paid of course.
